This little pizza place is truly in the middle of nowhere, but it was close to our cabin (thank goodness!) It's a tiny spot, so it's easy to miss. Everyone was very friendly and patient as we decided what all we wanted. The pizza tasted great!! My kids got to watch them cook the pizza through the window. They thought that was neat. We didn't try the ice cream, but we did get Italian Ice. The strawberry had amazing flavor!!

What a gem- we were looking for a bite to eat after riding Rail Explorers. Their pizza is so good- and the staff was amazing, very friendly and attention is given to make sure it’s cooked just right. And their homemade peach cobbler ice cream was to die for. We travel a lot and are ice cream snobs and this is definitely in our top 3 (if not #1). Definitely worth the drive

By far one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to! Pizza was amazing, environment was great, and top it off with some of the tastiest Italian ice & ice cream. Whether you’re just driving by or making a trip to visit I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Great eat after Rails to Trails in Clay County. The owner and employees were very kind & welcoming. The owner started a fire for us We loved our pizza’s and homemade ice cream. I’ve been to Italy twice & his pizza tastes just like I was in beautiful Italy. I wish there was a location in Charleston... No photos of the pizzas because they were consumed so quickly * cash only * & I recommend calling before to place your order

My son convinced me to stop. I was hesitant to go down the little country road but once we found the place, met the owner, and smelled the pizza, we were sold. Some of the best crust I've ever had. The ice cream and Italian ice were A+! Not only is Pizza & Cream worth the stop, but it's a destination! Or could/should be.

Someone recommended this place to us and honestly, I was a bit disappointed. The pizza was small and didn't justify the $35 we paid for it and the drive to get there. Even with fresh ingredients, a 12 inch pizza shouldn't be $35. The pizza was OK, but the crust was very salty. I didn't care for it. We will go back and try the ice cream, but for the pizza, no, never again.

Friends in Elkview, West Virginia (north of Charleston), invited my two sisters and myself to a unique pizza restaurant located in an isolated and beautiful country location. The pizzeria is one hour from their home. We used GPG to find the place, but somehow went off in the wrong direction and eventually we found the place. Pizzas & Cream is directly on a country road. You’ll spot the owners farmhouse and to the right is the building where you order your pizzas, ice creams and drinks. Inside, you’ll place your order and when it’s ready you will pick it up and bring it to your picnic table. (There are many picnic tables but no inside seating). For this reason, Pizzas & Cream is only open when it’s warm enough to sit outside. In other words, the restaurant is closed during the winter months. There were six of us, so we ordered four different pizzas. The people who invited me said they liked the Hawaiian pizzas, and one of my sisters and her husband ordered a pepperoni pizza. I ordered a Feta cheese and vegetable pizza. Once my sister picked up the food at the window of the restaurant and walked it to our tables, shaded from the sun on a warm and humid June afternoon, we commenced to eat slice after slice. An amusing and fun aspect of Pizzas & Cream are the 40 or so large free-range chickens roaming around the various tables and waiting for pieces of crust. They spent most of their time pecking for insects or worms, but I got the impression they were always well fed. I didn’t ask, but I’m sure some pizzas with chicken may be from this flock of birds. Once we were happily satisfied and stuffed with our pizzas, we all ordered cups of homemade ice creams: butter pecan and blackberry. It was absolutely the most delicious butter pecan ice cream I have ever in my life enjoyed. There were large chunks of pecans and gobbling the creamy desert was a refreshing and delightfully memorable experience. Pizzas & Cream opens daily at 4:00 PM. No credit cards are accepted; cash or checks only. You will be glad you went out of your way to eat here. The drive is among beautiful green trees and rocky cliffs. Occasionally you will pass a creek or stream, one of which is off the road at the entrance to Pizzas & Cream. There is plenty of parking, and the outside dining area is illuminated at night time until closing time.
